Canton Ohio
It wasn’t great. The vendors were cool but not a lot of shoppers
The only thing keeping me alive right now is my online traffic and am so grateful for everyone who shops with me and repeats using the product line.
There was a lady there from the ledges that I deff told off on the internet at the event, in real life
She was a vending and avoided me until I saw her pass my booth towards the end
Then I could feel her watching me and that was uncomfortable
I’m so happy I didn’t notice her till the end
She said I was doing bad dr00gz when I was at the ledges last and I laughed soooooo hard (*dolphin laugh)
I literally was like “girl I have all my teeth…”
She also said I was there “all” summer and I wouldn’t leave
I wasn’t there “all” summer which means ya’ll were taking about me “all” summer long cus you just couldn’t keep my name out if your mouth is what along the lines of what I responded
Everything I expressed I did so directly to her and she did not appreciate the truth hitting her own the face at all… shocking
Did the truth make your cognitive dissonance attack your critical thinking? yes. yes it did.
I sent her my ledges google review with the timeline and receipts and then dropped it cus she wasn’t worth wasting breath on
I did openly speak up about the venue being trash for a festival called Resonance ( it’s a festival that was dying and was throwing one last fest under this name)
I was right about how I though it was going to play out
The vendors didn’t do well. They had to pay a big fest price (1200-2500 for craft vending)
The resident vendors pay 150 a weekend (*that could have gone up since I was last there)
I could tell the event was only going to be people who typically go to that venue based on the community group page on Facebook
They don’t like to spend money with the vendors, they just complain that everything too expensive
I got accepted last minute and am so happy I decided against this one
Up next back to The Caverns for Ride the Tide!
Until Next Time <3
